Which healthcare facility will my colonoscopy be performed at?

An accredited healthcare facility and a board certified physician is assigned based on the address you provide in your Appointment Request. Information about the physician and facility assigned can be found in your patient forms packet once the request is processed.
The minimum criteria for a physician and facility can be found on our Quality page.
The facility is always located in the general metropolitan area of Atlanta, GA.

 

Is there a wait to schedule an appointment at the Atlanta locations?

Appointments usually need to be scheduled at least 2-3 weeks in advance at the facilities in Atlanta. In the event of a true emergency, appointments can be scheduled earlier.

 

Is an office visit required before the colonoscopy?

No. An office visit before a colonoscopy is not required.
A complete medical history form will need to be completed after scheduling an appointment. If the physician determines that an office visit is needed, one will be scheduled.

 

What qualifications do the physicians and facilities in Atlanta have?

We do not have a standard offering in any other city in Georgia at this time.
